Phantom of the Opera; PADOS Youth Theatre Group; March 2014

" A very fine performance. Utterly convincing and immersed in the role. This is a huge ask but he dominated the role without overwhelming and commanded attention on stage through detailed and controlled acting and singing in equal measure. A very good vocal technique which he did not allow to slip. You impressed me and that is not easily done.

Martin P. Roche (Greater Manchester Drama Federation)

"Chris Wagstaff took the title role of ‘Phantom’  presenting a very mature performance aided by his powerful and beautifully characterised voice, seductive nuances and unnerving actions to seduce the innocent Christine which all made his role wonderfully melodramatic and compelling."

Kevin Proctor (NODA)

"The main theme of the love triangle of the Phantom, Christine and Raoul was believable. Chris Wagstaff found the all-important pathos within the Phantom and made an excellent job of all his musical numbers."
